The app facilitates input by allowing users to add parts by line and features a built-in timer that introduces a slight delay during multiplication, enabling clear reading of subtotals before transferring them to the invoice. Users can switch to landscape mode for an enhanced viewing experience post entering parts.

For labor, the selection process is simplified with options to quickly add either half-hour or full-hour increments. Furthermore, two configurable tax rates accommodate multiple jurisdictions, with the secondary tax rate also serving as a tip calculator. A built-in flashlight function is available to improve visibility when filling out invoices.

Aesthetically, users can choose from three skins: Original, Blue Steel, and Magnum. The app ensures that totals are truncated to two decimal places, with tax rounded appropriately.

Compatibility: ServiceCalc is compatible with iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 8.0 or later, as well as iPad starting from iOS 12.0 or later.
